About The Role

Your responsibilities as the Membership Director will include:

• Develop and implement comprehensive membership recruitment strategies to meet annual targets.

• Cultivate relationships with prospective members through personalized outreach and tailored membership offerings.

• Manage the membership application process, ensuring a seamless experience from inquiry to acceptance.

• Collaborate with club management and department heads to enhance member amenities and services.

• Organize and host membership events, tours, and informational sessions to showcase club facilities and benefits.

• Maintain accurate membership records and databases, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations.

• Monitor member feedback and satisfaction levels, proactively addressing concerns and optimizing member retention efforts.

• Stay informed about industry trends and competitive landscape to continually enhance the club's membership offerings.

The Perfect Candidate

• Proven Track Record: Minimum of 5 years' experience in membership management, ideally within private members clubs.

• Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team, with a strong focus on strategic planning and execution.

• Relationship Building: Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders, including high-net-worth individuals and corporate clients.

• Results-Driven: Track record of achieving and exceeding membership acquisition and retention targets, with a commitment to delivering exceptional member experiences.

• Financial Acumen: Strong analytical skills with experience in budget management, revenue forecasting, and performance analysis to drive membership growth and profitability.

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. A relevant postgraduate qualification would be advantageous.

• Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of hospitality industry trends, membership services, events management, and luxury customer experiences.

• Flexibility and Availability: Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required to support club events and member activities.
